The Civil War Century Ride - September 7, 2007
105 mile bike ride put on by the Baltimore Bicycling Club
"This hilly ride has 7,400 feet of climbing with four mountain climbs and offers breathtaking mountain vistas along the way."
We visited three Civil War battlefields - Gettysburg, Antietam, and Manassas - along the route that started immediately with a climb that made me unsure I was going to make it all 105 miles. But woohoo I did, and the ice cream at the finish with Krissa and Annabelle was phenomenal.
